Black Bean Burgers

bun burgers - delicious vegetarian entree

Brand NEW Yummy Recipe!

1/2 of a medium sized onion
3 cloves (or 1/2 tsp powder) garlic, to tastel
1 (15oz) can of black beans, rinsed well and drained
1 tsp fresh parsley (or 1/2 tsp dried)
1 cube "Beef-flavoured" bouillon (OR 1/2 tsp seasoning salt plus 1 tsp Italian herbs)
4 tsp flax meal
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or dash of cayene)
1/2 to 3/4 cup bread crumbs (GF if needed)

Options:
1/4 cup of corn
1/4 cup of grated non-dairy cheese
1 tsp worcestershire sauce (vegan brands are available in some healthfood stores)

In a food processor, pulse onion, garlic, and bouillon (if using) until finely chopped. Add black beans,
seasonings, flax (egg) and pulse until mixed well. Stir in bread crumbs. If using flax, let stand 10 to
15 minutes. form into patties and fry in a lightly oiled skillet.
